After an illness of several months, Mrs. Charles Bell died Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at her home, 410 North Third street.

Emma Lange was born in Clinton February 16, 1878. She was married to Charles Bell January 1, 1900.

Left to mourn her death are her mother, Mrs. Julia Lange; her husband, and one son, Robert; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Fleming of Venice, Calif., and Mrs. Laura Dierksen of Clinton.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home.

Mrs. Bell was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock for Mrs. Charles Bell, who died Tuesday after an illness of many weeks. The Rev. W. E. Stockley of Grace Episcopal church of Lyons officiated.

Burial was made in Springdale, the following acting as pallbearers: Henry Hagge, Henry Sino, George Bradstream, George Frederick, Boy Petersen and Andrew Nielsen.

Those from out of the city who were here are: Mr. and Mrs. George Howson of Low Moor, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Kinkaid and Mr. and Mrs. John Ahrenholtz of Elvira.
