Mrs. Celeste Bush, 89 years old, died at 5 o'clock Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. H. George, 216 Elm street. Mrs. Bush had been in failing health all summer, though confined to her bed but a week. Old age is given as the cause of her death.

The funeral will be held at the late home Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. The body will be taken to the old home at Sterling for burial.

Mrs. Bush has lived with her daughter in Clinton for three years. She came here from Dixon, where she had made her home since the death of her husband, 45 years ago. They were married in Polo, Ill., in 1847, both having come from York state, where Mrs. Bush was born March 29, 1827.

Left to mourn her death are two sons and four daughters. They are C. H. Bush of Baker, Mont., E. N. Bush of Battle Creek, Iowa, Mrs. W. G. Haring, Mrs. C. H. George and Mrs. George Hause of Clinton, and Mrs. J. H. Hause of Chicago, Ill.

Funeral services were held this morning for Mrs. Celeste Bush, who died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George 216 Elm street. Dr. G. D. Rogers had charge of the service. The following old soldiers were pallbearers, Mrs. Bush's family being members of Grand Army and Clara Barton circles. George Drake, C. F. Kellogg, G. A. Worrell, J. M. Wheeler, George Dalrymple, George Hill.

The body was taken to Sterling for burial at her old home.
