Benjamin Davis of Charlotte who was injured about two weeks ago succumbed to his injuries Saturday evening at Agatha hospital where he has been since the accident befell him. Mr. Davis was attending a sale in Charlotte as he has lived in that vicinity since coming here and was selling a colt when the animal kicked him in the abdomen with fatal results. He was brought to Agatha hospital and operated upon several times in an effort to save his life but died Saturday.

Deceased was born in W. Wales about 27 years ago and came to this country about seven years, direct to Charlotte where he has since lived. He was employed by various farmers in that vicinity and was well known and liked by all of his friends.

He has no relatives in this country but is survived by his parents one sister and three brothers all of whom live in Wales.

The funeral will take place Tuesday afternoon with services at St. John's Lutheran church in charge of Rev. Jobst of Charlotte and burial will be in the Glahn cemetery.
