Ollie Rockabrand, a Clinton barber, was struck by a freight locomotive at the Sterling (Ill.) passenger depot as he was in the act of crossing to get on board a passenger train for Clinton, and was hurled sixty feet from the right-of-way, receiving a broken thigh and arm, and internal injuries, which resulted in his death in less than an hour.
