The body of Miss Polena Cook, accompanied by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos B. Cook, and her uncle, Andrew J. Cook, arrived from Rochester, Minn., last evening. One month ago she went there for treatment and underwent a surgical operation, but human skill was unavailing. The funeral will be held in her late home Thursday at 1 o'clock p.m.

Miles, Ia., Nov. 10--The many friends of Polena Cook were much grieved to learn of her death which occurred Monday morning at Rochester where she had undergone an operation. The remains were brought back here Tuesday evening. The funeral services were held yesterday.
