page 8Mrs. Christina Cumming died in Los Angeles Monday morning. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland, Sept. 19, 1831, and was married in Scotland to Alexander H. Cumming. Forty years ago the Cumming family moved to DeWitt. Mr. Cumming died 17 years ago and two years later she moved to California to reside with her sons.
Two sons John of Los Angeles and Magnus of Centerville, S. D. and a daughter, Mrs. Anna Dennison of DeWitt, mourn her death.
The remains will arrive in DeWitt Thursday, and the funeral will be held Friday at two o'clock at the Dennison home.
