Funeral services for the late Mrs. Thomas Thompson were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Congregational church with Reverend Stewart of Davenport in charge. "Abide With Me" and "We Are Going Down The Valley" were hymns sung by Mrs. E. J. Miller and Mrs. William Saltmarsh. Bearers of the pall were Henry Knutsen, John Witt, John Nielsen, William Dittmer, Ernest Muhs and Fred Thiede.
The girls in charge of the flowers were all granddaughters of the deceased and were: Miss Myrna Muhs, and the Misses Verna, Delda, Bernice and Dorothy Thompson. Interment was made at Elwood cemetery.
