Relatives have received word of the death of Mrs. John F. DeVitt at her home in Muscatine, Iowa. Her husband, Attorney John F. Devitt is a former resident of DeWitt and is well known here. Mrs. J. L. Thornton, Mrs. Nellie Johnston and Miss Margaret Devitt will attend the funeral at nine o'clock Monday morning in Muscatine. Mrs. Devitt was very prominent in Catholic Circles being Past Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of America.
