A Memorial.

Instead of the usual Sunday school exercise at the M. E. church Sunday, the hour was devoted to a memorial of the late Mrs. Jane Bagley, formerly a teacher in the school. Songs she loved were sung, and remarks were made by the officers of the school. Much good doubtless will accrue to the many who attended. The following resolution was unanimously adopted:
Resolved, That this school recognizes in the death of Mrs. Jennie Bagley the earthly close of a pure life whose aim was a more perfect work in the service of the Master. To her exemplary life she illustrated the noble gratitude of a devout christian. As a teacher she was constant and devoted, and her heart was interested in her class and school. By her gentle manner, and endearing grace of mind and heart, she commanded our love and esteem. That, while paying this tribute to her memory, we tender our sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and kindred friends.
