Mrs. Marie Hinrichs passed away today at her home, 512 Hickory street. She was born May 14, 1831, in Lunden, Holstein, Germany. In March 1856 she was united in marriage to C. P. Hinrichs of Lunden. Together they came to this country in 1889, and made their home in this city.

Left to mourn her are seven sons, Wm. Hinrichs, Aug. Hinrichs and E. Hinrichs of this city, Adolph Hinrichs and John Hinrichs of Davenport, Iowa, Fred Hinrichs of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Albert Hinrichs of Ft. Madison, Iowa. Thirteen grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held Saturday and will be private. Friends are requested to omit flowers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Hinrichs were held Saturday afternoon at the home, 512 Hickory street in charge of the Rev. A. H. Lutz of the Zion Lutheran church. Six sons acted as pallbearers.

Burial was made at Springdale.
