Guy M. Holsapple died yesterday morning at eleven o'clock at the home of his parents in West DeWitt. He had been ill for several weeks, had undergone two operations and had just passed through a third when his heart failed. He was born December 13, 1887 at LeClaire, Iowa and was 28 years, 6 months and 13 days old, is survived by his wife and two children, his parents, one brother Merrill and two sisters, Allie and Lura. Had been living since February in Welton where he was engaged in the barber business. Funeral services will be held at the home of his parents at 1:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon with Reverend Kidder officiating. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery.

The funeral of the late Guy Morey Holsapple was held yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Holsapple, of West DeWitt. Rev. Kidder of the M.E. church officiated, with services at the house and also at the grave. Appropriate vocal music was given by Mrs. Will Gostick and Miss Alice Beard, with Miss Melba Wagoner as accompanist. Raymond, the 6-year-old son of Mrs. Tula Storhbehn of Princeton, sang "I Surrender All". A large number of relatives and friends were present and followed the remains to the cemetery, with the following acting as pallbearers: Matty Carlsen, Hooks Paulsen, Will McClimon of Welton and Robert Torgersen, Talbot Latham and John Yegge, of DeWitt. Among the out of town friends and relatives present were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dodds and M. V. Holsapple of Rock Island, John Doty, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Suiter of Princeton, Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Pollock, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Morey, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morey, Mrs. Tula Strobehn and son Raymond, Mrs. Lane Morey, Mrs. Briggs Shannon, Mr. Jake Meyers and son of LeClaire, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Compton, Mrs. Edwin Stokes and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Thaddeus Hall and son Dossen, Roy Holsapple and Mrs. Doss Holsapple of Davenport.
