Lost Nation, Ia. Sept. 14--John F. Schmidt, a well known Clinton county farmer whose home was six miles southeast of Lost Nation, died yesterday at St. Luke's hospital, in Davenport, death having been caused by ulcers of the stomach. Surviving the deceased are his wife and a family of children. The funeral arrangements were not announced today.
