Lost Nation, Ia., May 31--William F. Schroeder, aged about forty years, died yesterday afternoon at his home, two miles west of Lost Nation, stomach trouble being the cause of death. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and five children as follows: Eva, Viola, Leroy, Myron and Glen. Also three sisters: Mrs. Henry Sievers, Mrs. Will Holtz, all of Toronto and four brothers, Charles, John, Gus and Frank, all of near Toronto; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schroeder, near Toronto. The funeral will be held Friday, the time and place to be announced later.

Lost Nation, Ia. June 1--Plans were completed yesterday for the funeral of William Shrader, to be held from the home at noon today, with services at the Union church in Lost Nation at 1 o'clock. The Rev. D. F. Boomershine of Maquoketa will officiate. Interment will be in the Toronto cemetery.

Mr. Shrader died at noon Tuesday after an illness of a year's duration with stomach trouble. He was operated upon in Davenport last fall, and since that time it has been known that he could live only a short time. He was 39 years, 7 months and 11 days old.

Lost Nation, Ia. June 3--William F. Schroeder, living west of town, died at his home Tuesday afternoon, following over a year's illness from stomach disease. Besides his wife and children, Eva, Viola, LeRoy, Glenn and Myron, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schroeder, survive and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Henry Sievers, Mrs. Will Holtz, Mrs. Fred Holtz, John, Frank, August and Charles, all in the vicinity of Toronto. The funeral services were held at the Union church Thursday morning. Mr. Schroeder was a comparatively young man, about 40 years of age, and it is to be regretted that his illness resulted fatally. He was an industrious, well-liked man. He was a good neighbor and a dependable friend. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved family in the loss of a good husband, father, son and brother.

Lost Nation, Iowa, June 10--The funeral services for the late William F. Schroeder were held at the Union church Thursday afternoon, a large number of friends and neighbors of the deceased and family attending to pay their last respect to the departed and to express their sympathy with the bereaved. Rev. Boomershine of Maquoketa conducted the services and the choir sang the following hymns: "Asleep in Jesus", "Jesus, Saviour, Pilot Me" and "Somewhere the Sun is Shining." The choir were the Misses Dobling and Willimack and Messrs. Dickman and Burrichter. Relatives from Grand Mound, Toronto, Welton, Wheatland and friends from many of the surrounding towns were in attendance. The pall bearers were Wm. H. Cook, Herman Schultz, Ed Schultz, Gus Horstman, Jule Muhl and Gus Muhl. The flowers were numerous and beautiful. Interment was made in the Toronto cemetery.
