Funeral services for the late Mrs. Sayles Jones, who died in Philadelphia, were held here Thursday afternoon. The remains arrived on the 2:20 train and were taken to Oakland chapel, where Rev. W. W. Woodfin, of the Congregational church, conducted the service.

Mrs. Woodfin and Miss Alma Graefe sang three hymns during the service, the first of which was written by Mrs. Jones brother, H. M. Jones, who also wrote the music to the second one, while Mrs. Jones' husband, Darius Elliot Jones, composed the music to the last one.

The pall bearers were F. C. Brayton, F. W. Leedham, A. A. Root, C. L. Root, W. D. Jacobsen and L. C. Moeszinger.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. J. Gilpin of Philadelphia, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sayles of Oak Park, Ill.; Edwin Sayles of Guthrie Centre, Ia., and Misses Catherine Morris, Nettie Jones and Emma Morris of Chicago, Ill.
