This morning at 1:15 o'clock occurred the death of William F. McGinn at the home of his father on North Sixth street. The young man was taken ill March 20 and since that time has gradually failed until the end came this morning.

Deceased was born in Charlotte April 30, 1900, and later came to this city with his father, attending St. Irenaeus parochial school, and after that he enrolled at St. Ambrose college, Davenport, where he remained until taken sick last spring.

The young man had many friends who will be deeply grieved to learn of his death, as his disposition was always a pleasing one and his school friends held him in high esteem. He is survived by his father, William C. McGinn, three sisters, Caire McGinn and Vivian and Alice Hanrahan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at eight o'clock at St. Irenaeus church and the funeral procession will go to Petersville, where the body will be interred.
