Miss Dot Meyers, daughter of Mrs. Charles Meyers, of 312 Elm street, died Sunday at Clermont, S.D., according to a message received by her mother Monday morning. Miss Meyers has been in South Dakota for the last two weeks, visiting an aunt. She had a severe cold when she left home, and developments later caused her death. The message contained no further particulars.

The body of Dottie Myers, who died at Clermont, S.D., arrived in Clinton Tuesday night, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Benson, cousins, and was taken to the home of her mother, Mrs. Charles Meyers, 312 Elm street, where the funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:30. The Rev. C. L. Nye will officiate. Interment will be made at the Swedish cemetery, where the Eastern Star lodge will conduct the ceremony.

Miss Meyers was a member of the Royal Neighbors, Chicago camp, and of the Manor chapter, O.E.S. Chicago. She was born in Clinton, 36 years ago, and was educated in the Clinton schools. Ten years ago she went to Chicago to live. In May Miss Meyers went to Clermont to visit her aunt, Mrs. Swensen, and here she was taken sick and died July 2.

Left to mourn her death are her mother, three sisters and three brothers who are Anna, John and Will, of Clinton, and Lillian, Alma and Victor of Chicago.

The funeral of Dot Meyers, who died at the home of her aunt in Clermont, S.D., was held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Charles Meyers, Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, the Rev. C. L. Nye officiating. Burial was made in Swedish Lutheran cemetery, in charge of the Clinton chapter of the Eastern Star lodge.
