page 6Charles H. Reusche, a resident of Lyons since 1858 and one of the city's most prominent residents, died at 3:30 Sunday afternoon at his home, 1120 Second street.
Death was caused by a complication of diseases, Mr. Reusche having been ill for over three months. Born in Chicago on August 24th, 1856, he came to Lyons with his parents at the age of two. On September 25, 1915, he was married to Miss Hattie Lubbers, who now survives him. He also leaves two sisters and two brothers, Miss Lottie Reusche and Mrs. E. W. Pammond, both of Lyons, and Otto and Adolph Reusche, also of this city. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Reusche was a member of the well known C.L. Root drill corps, and was a charter member of the Cigar Makers' International Union, number 239 of this city.
The funeral services will be held at the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. N. A. McCaulay, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.

page 6Funeral services for the late Charles Reusche were held this afternoon at two o'clock from the home 1120 Ringwood Place and burial was in Oakland cemetery. Rev. N. A. McAulay officiated at the service and the pallbearers were T. T. Ashton, Ed Kamer, J. J. McAuliff, Julius Andersen, Theodore Overkamp and C. W. Cawley.
