This morning at her home, 409 North Seventh street, occurred the death of Mrs. Julia Wilhelmina Bollen (nee Mohrbutter), after an illness of about five weeks, death being due to acute nephritis, with other complications of diseases.

Mrs. Bollen was born in Arensburg, Schlewsig Holstein, Germany, March 15, 1848. She came to Lyons in April, 1873, and was married here to Henry Bollen June 21, 1873. Together they resided here until the year 1877 when they moved to the country, six miles west of this city in Hampshire township, where they lived until the death of Mr. Bollen in April, 1891, and two years later at 409 North Seventh street.

One daughter, Miss Emma, died in October, 1895, at the age of nine years. The deceased is survived by three sons, Charles of Denison, Ia.; Robert of Miles, Iowa, and Henry of Cedar Rapids; and two daughters, Mrs. Henry Lueders of Lyons and Mrs. Lew Johnson of Story City, Ia. Also three sisters, Mrs. Augusta Fredrecksen of this city and two sisters in Germany, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 o'clock from the home and burial will be in the Ingwersen cemetery, with Rev. Hugo Grimm officiating in German and English.
