Mrs. Elizabeth Eitman, aged 85 years, passed away Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Bonneman, 235 Twelfth avenue. Her death was the result of old age. Funeral services are to be held at the residence, 235 Twelfth avenue, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. A. H. Lutz, pastor of the German Lutheran church is to officiate at the services and interment will take place in Springdale cemetery.
Mrs. Eitmann was born February 9, 1828, in Germany and moved to this country with her husband in 1886. She was preceded in death by her husband twenty-five years ago and leaves to mourn her death two daughters, Mrs. William Bonneman of Clinton and Mrs. John Keller of Sabula.From the Clinton Herald, Sept. 5, 1913, Page 10
The funeral services for the late Mrs. Elizabeth Eitmann were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of the daughter, Mrs. William Ronneman, 235 Twelfth avenue. Rev. A. H. Lutz, paster of the German Lutheran church officiated at the services and interment took place in Springdale cemetery. The pall-bearers were D. Payson, R. Blelendorf, F. Obermiller, H. Freund, A. Nissen and P. Johannsen.
