Funeral services for the late Miss Alma Knudsen will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Danish Lutheran church. Rev. P. Gotke is to officiate at the services and interment will take place in Springdale cemetery.

Teachers in Schools to Attend Miss Knudson Funeral
Flags on the Clinton public school buildings are to be at half-mast Friday as a tribute to the late Miss Knudson, teacher in the schools, who died as a result of injuries received by falling at Cedar Falls, and whose funeral is to be hld at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Danish Lutheran church. Teachers will attend the services and seats are to be reserved for them in the church. Those from the Washington school, where she taught last year, and the Jefferson school, to which she was assigned this year, will attend in a body. The teachers and the school board are also represented by floral remembrances. The services in the church are to be partially in the Danish language.From the Clinton Herald, Sept. 5, 1913, Page 10
Funeral services for the late Miss Alma Knudsen were held Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Danish Lutheran church. Rev. P. Gotke officiated at the services and interment took place in Springdale cemetery. The pall-bearers were Carl Jensen, Olaf Jensen, William Paulsen, Fred Andersen, Emil Foged and Oscar Carlson. The services were attended by teachers in the Clinton schools where Miss Knudsen had been a teacher and flags on the school buildings were at half-mast Friday.
