page 8Grand Mound, Ia., June 13--The funeral of the late Mrs. Albert Klabunde, who died at her home two miles east of town last Friday from a lingering illness with tuberculosis, was held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday at the Lutheran church, services being conducted by Rev. L. Eschbach.
Julia Starr was born May 6, 1884, in Milwaukee, Wis. She was united in marriage to Albert Klabunde May 28, 1904. To this union three children were born, Leona, aged 11; Elmer, aged 9, and Lorraine, aged 3. In 1909 they came to Iowa and settled on a farm near McCausland, Scott county. Two years ago they moved to the John Ryan farm east of town, where they resided at the time of her demise.
Besides her sorrow-stricken husband and three children, she is survived by one sister and numberless friends who express deepest sympathy to those bereft of a kind and loving wife and mother.
