Mrs. B. Cooty passed away very suddenly Thursday morning at 3:30 o'clock at her home on South Seventh street, after an illness of one week death being due to pneumonia.

Miss Bridget O'Hearn was born in Sidney, Ohio Feb. 2, 1856, and came to this city when a child. Since that time she has lived here, where she was held in high esteem by her many friends, who will be deeply grieved to learn of her passing away.

She was married to Nicholas Cooty May 1, 1883, and he preceded her in death some twenty-one years ago. Deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. L. Northrup, with whom she made her home, one step-brother, J. J. Cummins of Brainery, Minn., and a step-sister, Mrs. Smith, of Chicago, Ill.

Mr. Cummins was called home here by the illness of Mrs. Cooty, but did not arrive her until after the death of his sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Irenaeus church and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Friends are requested to omit flowers.

The funeral of the late Mrs. B. Cooty, who died early yesterday morning, will be held Saturday morning from her late home on South Seventh street to St. Irenaeus church, where requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made in Calvary cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. B. Cooty, who died early Thursday morning at her home on South Seventh street, was held at 9 o'clock this morning with services at St. Irenaeus church. A solemn high mass was celebrated and Father Comerford spoke words of comfort to those so suddenly bereft.

The following acted as pallbearers: T. J. Hudson, Maurice Foran, J. P. Cahill, James Doran, William Lee, and George Shean. Burial was made in Calvary cemetery.

The following from out of town were present at the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Maher and daughters, Esther and Leona, of Preston; Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Beatty of Preston, Mrs. W. C. Bent of Milledgeville, Ill., J. J. Cummins, Mr. and Mrs. John Cummins and Thomas Cummins of Brainerd, Minn.
