page 7William W. McAllister died at 8:45 o'clock this morning at the home of his son, W. C. McAllister, 750 Stockholm street, after an illness of nine weeks with a complication of diseases.
Deceased was born in York state July 20, 1844, and was a member of Company A, 26th Michigan and served in the army for three years.
He is survived by his son, W. C. McAllister, one daughter, Mrs. Nettie B. Gargen of Denver and three sisters and one brother. One sister, Mrs. Gene Kellogg, and daughter, Jessie, arrived from Chicago last night.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home and will be in charge of the Masons, of which order the deceased was a member. Rev. Hess of the Christian church will officiate. Interment will be made in Springdale cemetery.
