Mrs. Emil Evers, wife of Councilman Evers of the First ward, died at 1:50 this afternoon, after a four weeks' illness.

Mrs. Evers was born in Holstein Germany, and was 56 years old. She moved to Clinton in 1904 and lived here until the time of her death. As a resident of this city, she has become well known to a wide circle of friends who will deeply mourn her death.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Evers will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home at 129 North Sixth street. Reverend Lutz will be in charge and burial will be made in Springdale cemetery.

A slight error was made yesterday in announcing the age of the deceased, it being 65 years and 3 months. Mrs. Evers is survived by her husband and four sons, Edward, Peter, Emil and Lewis.
