Daniel McGinn, an aged resident of Charlotte, passed away at 8 o'clock last night, death having been caused by the infirmities of old age.

The deceased was 75 years of age, and had lived in Charlotte and vicinity for about 60 years. He was born in Canada, coming in his early youth to this part of Iowa, and until about eight years ago he had followed the occupation of a farmer. He was unmarried.

The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, the cortege going to the Charlotte church, where services will be held, followed by interment in the cemetery there.

Charlotte, Iowa, April 8--Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock occurred the death of Daniel McGinn, one of Charlotte's oldest residents. He was born near Richmond, Canada in 1840. He came to this part of the county with his parents when a boy. He was the last of twelve children. The funeral was held at the Assumption church Thursday morning. Burial took place in the Petersville cemetery.
