Funeral services were held Monday in DeWitt for Hans Prehn, 63, who died at his home Friday.

He had been an employe of the Iowa State Highway Commission for 25 years. He farmed before that.

He was born in Germany. He married Margaret Clement about 40 years ago in DeWitt and has resided in DeWitt the last 20 years.

Surviving are the wife; two sons Herbert of Welton and Thomas of Lincoln, Neb.; three daughters, Mrs. Wolcott of Clinton, Mrs. Florence Schroeder of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Story of Clinton; and several grandchildren.
