DeWitt, Oct. 6 -- Word has been received from Vail stating that (illegible but could be James) Hill had died there on Friday ???ning last and was buried from ?? Ann's church on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Hill, son Clem and daughter Frances and Mr. Hill's sister-in-law Mrs. P. A. Duffy spent fair week at the home of Peter Mangan who, with his daughter, Celia, are ?? Vail to attend the funeral.
