Widow of Former Resident Passes Away Wednesday Morning at 11:15 O'ClockMrs. Mary Gallion died Wednesday morning at 11:15 o'clock at her home 204 South Fourth street. She had reached the advanced age of 88 years and had been ill for some time. Mrs. Gallion had been a resident of this city for many years.

FUNERAL SATURDAY
Well Known and Highly Respected Lady Passed Away After a Lingering Illness of Long Duration -- Was Eighty-Eight Years of Age -- House Open to Friends -- Burial PrivateAs briefly stated in Wednesday's Herald the death of Mrs. Mary Gallion, a pioneer resident of this city occurred at home, 204 South Fourth street, at 11:15 o'clock Wednesday morning. The deceased had been ill for a number of years, which with her advanced age was the cause of her death. She was born in Germany, December 7, 1824 and came to this country in 1848. Shortly after arriving here she was united in marriage to the late John Gallion in Cincinnati, Ohio. Seven years later they moved to this city where they resided until called by death.
Three children are left to mourn her death, Henry F. Gallion and Mrs. Emma Buezeville of this city and Charles F. Gallion of Ione, Wash.
The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house. Rev. Wilbur S. Leete of Grace Episcopal church will have charge of the services. Friends are kinly requested to omit flowers. Burial at Oakland will be private.The Clinton Herald, Oct. 11, 1913

The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Gallion took place from the home in South Fourth street Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Wilbur S. Leete of Grace Episcopal church had charge of the services. The following friends acted as palbearers: t. J. Hudson, Curtis Rand, J. W. Beez, Milo Gabriel, John Petersen and William Liembach. Burial which was private took place in Oakland cemetery.
