AGED RESIDENT DIES WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Peter Behrens Answers Final Summons at Her Home in Chicago Street.

Mrs. Lena Behrens, an aged and respected resident of this city at 1106 Chicago street, died at Mercy hospital Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock. Paralysis was the cause of her death.
The deceased was born in Germany, June 22, 1841, making her 72 years of age at the time of her death. The following survivors are left to mourn her death, her husband, Peter Behrens, three daughters, Emma Hansen of Nashua, Ia., Mrs. Rop Papne and Mrs. William Krebs of Clinton, two sons, John Behrens of Andover and Henry Behrens of Bryant, sixteen grandchildren, and two sisters in Germany. Funeral arrangements will be announce later.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Peter Behrens will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence in 1106 Chicago street. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church will have charge of the services.

The funeral services for the late Mrs. Peter Behrens were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence in Chicago street. Rev. Hugo Grimm, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, officiated. During the services Miss Gladys Shadduck sang an appropriate solo.
The following friends of the deceased acted as pall-bearers: Martin Hansen, Hans Payne, Henry Stange, ?nger Christenson, Nick Asmussen and Charles Michelsen. Burial was in Oakland cemetery.
