Mrs. H. W. Stephens on Fifth avenue, received a telegram today telling the death of her niece, Mrs. Fred Bell (formerly Miss Rosa Potter) of Rock Island. Mrs. Bell was well known here, coming to Clinton when a small girl with her mother and sister. She attended the public schools and was married in Clinton in 1891. She is survived by her husband, one son Edmond and daughters, her mother, Mrs. Forster, sister Miss Cora Potter.
