Rasmus Nielsen, an old resident of this city, died Saturday night at Agatha hospital, aged 75 years.

Mr. Nielsen was born in Denmark, and had made his home in Clinton for 40 years. He had been ailing during the past 25 years. The wife of the deceased passed away about a year ago, since which time Mr. Nielsen had been taken care of by Mr. and Mrs. Jurgen Hass, he having been distantly related to the later.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Estabrooks undertaking establishment on Second street, with interment in Springdale cemetery. The Danish society, of which the deceased was a member, will attend, and Rev. P. Gotke, pastor of the Danish Lutheran church, will have charge of the services.
