Michael J. Shelko passed away at Mercy hospital at 10 o'clock Sunday evening after a lingering illness.
The deceased was born at Sugar Creek, in Clinton county, on October 19, 1886. He was educated in the Sacred Heart school of this city, and after leaving school entered the employ of the Clinton Saddlery Company, where he worked for fourteen years.
The deceased is survived by his wife, nee Zerla Black, his mother, three brothers, John, Joseph and Andrew Shelko, and two sisters, Mrs. Blair Tate and Miss Lena Shelko. A brother, Frank Shelko, passed away last fall.
The funeral arrangements were not announced today.

The funeral of the late Michael Shelko will be held tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock from the Sacred Heart church. Burial will be in St. Boniface cemetery, Lyons.
