Toronto, Iowa April 5--The funeral of Mr. J. P. Ackerman was held here Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the school house, Rev. Vollmer of Lost Nation officiating after which the remains were laid at rest in the family lot in Rose Hill cemetery. The large concourse of old friends and neighbors present from here and Wheatland showed his high standing in the community.
