Sunday afternoon at her home, 303 North Ninth street, occurred the death of Miss Ella Sarah McCann, after an illness of a few weeks, death being due to a complication of diseases.

Ella McCann was born in this city March 22, 1860, and has lived here since then, and during that time made a host of friends, who will be grieved to learn of her death.

Surviving her are one sister, Mrs. James McKenna, and two brothers, John and Charles.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Irenaeus church and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Miss Ella McCann were held this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Irenaeus church. Rev. James Comerford performed the requiem high mass and gave an eloquent sermon. The Women's Catholic Foresters, of which the deceased was a member, attended in a body. Interment was made in Calvary cemetery. The pallbearers were T. J. Hudson, Maurice Foran, James McQuillen, James Campbell, John Dever and Michael Laughlin.
