Mrs. C. L. Whitford, aged 94, passed away Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jennie Crosby at Chetops, Kansas.

Mrs. Whitford was a resident of Clinton several years ago and has many friends in Clinton who will be grieved to learn of her death.

The deceased leaves to mourn her death one son and three daughters. F. W. Shaw of this city, is a grandson of the deceased.

Funeral services were held today in Cordova with burial service in Cordova cemetery. Mr. Shaw went to Cordova today to attend the funeral.
