William Cassie, Northwestern railway freight conductor, of Boone, was found dead in bed Sunday morning. Mr. Cassie was a resident of Clinton for a number of years and moved to Boone at the time the freight division was divided. He had been an employee of the Northwestern railroad for over 25 years and was well known in Clinton, especially by the railroad people. A. D. Thomas has departed for Boone, where he will have charge of the B. of R. T. funeral services and many other railroad people will attend the funeral.
