Hundreds of Clinton friends of Mrs. Nellie E. Oliver, wife of John H. Oliver, a former resident of this city, were grieved Sunday to learn of her death.

Mrs. Oliver passed away very suddenly at the West Suburban hospital, Oak Park, Ill, at three o'clock Sunday morning, February 6th, after an illness of four days. It will be remembered that Mrs. Oliver was an old and loved resident of Clinton, having graduated from the Clinton high school, class of 1888, and removed to Oak Park during May, 1911. She leaves to mourn her death the husband, John H. Oliver, Miss Marjorie and William of Oak Park and Robert of Clinton. Mrs. Oliver was very active in church work both in Clinton and Oak Park and her death will be keenly felt by all who knew her loving and sympathetic disposition.

Funeral will be held from the family residence, 1111 East Erie Street, Oak Park, Ill., at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, February 8th, with interment at Rosehill cemetery, Chicago.
