Mrs. Helen Jorgensen, nee Mommsen, died in Granada, Minnesota, on Wednesday, at the age of 82 years. The remains will be brought to Clinton and the funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Chris Hansen, 105 North Third street. Interment will be made in Springdale cemetery. Rev. Hugo Grimm of St. John's Lutheran church, Lyons, will officiate in the English language.

The deceased was born in 1835 in Denmark. When grown to womanhood she was united in marriage to Soren H. Jorgensen. Eight children were born to this union, two having passed away. From Denmark she went to Minnesota and settled on a farm and fifteen years ago came to Clinton, where her husband passed away in 1911. Since then she has made her home among her children. For a number of years she lived with her daughter, Mrs. Chris Hansen, of Clinton. Last October she went to Granada, Minn., where she lived with another daughter, Mrs. Osperson. About a year ago she was taken ill and gradually grew worse until the end.

She leaves six children, Mrs. Chris Hansen of Clinton, Mrs. Oscar Osperson and Peter Jorgensen of Granada, Minn., Mrs. Joe Elm of Washington, Mrs. John Ulmer of South Dakota, and Mrs. Louis Cobb of Wyoming, also 22 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
