Word comes from Boone of the death of John Fovarque a former resident of Elk River township. Mr. Fovarque was the brother of Mrs. Elizabeth Allen of Ringwood place and Isaac Fovarque and Mrs. Howard Jackson of Lyons. The death occured Thursday morning at 10 o'clock.
Deceased was born at Dodington, England, and came to this country when quite young. He settled in Elk River township where he lived until about 25 years ago when he removed to Boone where he has resided since. Besides the sisters and brothers mentioned he leaves another brother Dan'l L. Fovarque of Nebraska and two sisters in England, one Mrs. Turner of London, and Mrs. Abblett of Dodington. Four children also survive him: Mrs. Rob Hofman, Miss Lota, Miss Orpha and George Fovarque all of Boone. The funeral takes place at Boone today.
