Thos. Martin, an old and respected citizen of Clinton died late Thursday night at his home 328 Fifteenth avenue. The cause of the death was stated as old age. Mr. Martin was 89 years of age and has been a resident of Clinton many years and has a large number of friends who will his death. He had been failing gradually for some time and his death was expected. The death occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jas. Finn.
The funeral will be held from the late residence Sunday afternoon followed by services in St. Mary's church. Interment will be made at St. Mary's cemetery.
