Mrs. Washington Dozier, colored, who resided on Harrison street died suddenly about two o'clock yesterday afternoon. She was leaving the house and had just reached the gate when she fell and when the family reached the spot she had expired. Heart trouble is the causes assigned. The deceased was 62 years of age and had lived in Clinton many years.

The funeral of Mrs. Dozier was held at 2 o'clock Saturday from the late residence on Harrison street. Interment in Springdale.
