Mrs. George (Hilda L.) Still, 84, of 2390 Dunham St., died Thursday in the Alverno.
The funeral will be at 11 A.M. Monday in Snell-Zoring Funeral Home, Clinton, with the Rev. Paul Pflatzgraff of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Carlson, William Andersen, Arnold Dosland, Henry "Buck" Fries, Lyle Sullivan and Dan Manes.
She was born March 20, 1897, in Manning, Iowa to Louis and Elizabeth Sachleben Krebs. She married George Still May 24, 1916, in Lyons. She had lived in Clinton for 69 years. The couple owned and operated Still's Grocery Store for 47 years, retiring in 1969. Mrs. Still was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star No. 65.
Survivors include har husband, George; a daughter, Mrs. Charles R. (Marion) Anderson of Clinton; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Chester (Esther) Ryder of Clinton, and a brother, Edward Krebs of Clinton.
She was preceeded in death by a son, a sister and a brother.
