The Clinton Herald Tuesday November 13, 1928 p 5 Funeral services for George Bland were held were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Bethel A.M.E. church, the body being taken there from the Delaney Undertaking parlors. The Rev. F.L. Bean officiated at the funeral and burial was in Springdale cemetery. The pallbearers were William H. Boone, Frank Thornton, George Robinson, H. Williams, G. Wolish and Grant Dosher. Mr. Bland was a veteran of the Spanish war and leaves a wife.
