Mrs. Catherine Balbach died at the home of her daughter, MRs. Adam Schneider, in Spring Valley township, at 4:15 Tuesday afternoon, aged 91 years and eight months.
Deceased was born in Germany, and came to this country in 1854, and settled in Galena. There she had lived until 18 months ago. She had since been making her home here with her daughter. She leaves six children, Mrs. F. W. Damour and Mrs. Adam Schneider of this place; Mrs. Adolph Bahwell, Mrs. John Fuchs, Conrad and George Balbach, of Galena.
Funeral services from the house and St. Boniface church, Thursday afternoon at two; internment in the St. Boniface cemetery.
