TORONTO, Iowa -- Services for Charles E Caes, 77, of Toronto will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Toronto Community Church. burial will be in Massillon Cemetery.

Visitation is 3 to 9 p.m. today at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland.

Mr. Caes died Wednesday at Jackson County Public Hospital.

He retired from farming.

Mr. Caes married Genevieve Marr in 1940 in Grand Mound.

Survivors include his wife; daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Gertrude) Watts, Roswell, N.M., and Mrs. Richard (Betty) Hansen, Wyoming; sons, Frank, Wheatland; Edmond, Des Moines; Ralph, Chaska, Minn; Paul, Lowden; Ben, Cedar Rapids; and Joseph, Toronto; 39 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Nicely and Mrs. Harold Fischer, both of Wheatland, and Mrs. Logan Marr, Monmouth; and brothers, George, Maquoketa, and Joseph, Wheatland.
