CLINTON, Iowa -- Sister DeChantal O'Neill, Order of St. Frances, 83, of Clinton, died Sunday at Alverno Healthcare Center, Clinton.

Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Mount St. Clare Chapel, Mount St. Clare Convent, Clinton. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Mount St. Clare Convent, where a scripture reading will be conducted at 7 p.m.

Cannon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sister O'Neill was born in Fermeuse, Newfoundland, Can.

She enter the Sisters of St. Frances, Clinton, in 1915. She was professed in 1917.

She then taught elementary school, retiring in 1966. She last taught at Sacred Heart School, Clinton, for two years.

Survivors include a sister, Anne Lydon, Bridgewater, Mass., and nieces, Mrs. Nicholas Tobin, East Glocester, Mass., and Mrs. Carl Dugway, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Can.
