Walker, Constance Sue, Phoenix, AZ, passed away May 21, 2017 at age 72 after a long illness. Connie, nee St. Clair, was born July 24, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa. After graduating from St. Marys College, she became a secretary for the attorneys at the U.S. Security & Exchange Commission, Washington, D.C. In 1967 Connie married Reno F. Walker. They resided in Alexandria, Virginia where their daughter Dana Renee was born. In 1969 Reno joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a Special Agent, and they moved to Birmingham, Alabama. In 1970 Connie and her family moved to Island Park, New York where their daughter Tara Michelle was born. In 1978 they moved to Phoenix, Arizona and resided here ever since. Both daughters are graduates of ASU.
Connie was a devoted mother and homemaker. She was a very talented interior decorator and always a leader in her community and a beloved neighbor.
Connie is survived by her mother Madelyn; brother Mark; sister Julie; husband Reno; daughters Dana and Tara and three grandchildren, Conor, Cameron and Cailin. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 31st at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ.
