Death of John W. Bard

Word was received in the city yesterday of the death of John W. Bard, on November 20, at the home of his parents in Swanton, Vermont, the immediate cause of death being cancer of the stomach. Mr. Bard was a carpenter and for several years resided on Ninth Street in this city. His wife and youngest child died in Clinton several months ago. Deceased was a member of the I. O. O. F. Lodge in this city, and leaves two little boys, who reside with their grandparents in Vermont.
