Kathleen M. Wilson, 69, of Clinton, IA, passed away, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Mercy Living Center-North.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sandy and Shane Conklin, Brian Wernick, Brian Wilson, Theodore Harris, Gene Gonyier, Robert Wilson Josh Cramer and Aaron Rockwell. Kathleen M. McDermott was born June 30, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Donald J. and Mary Bernadine (Donahue) McDermott. She was a 1965 graduate of Mount St. Clare Academy. Kathleen married Robert J. Wilson October 20, 1973 in Clinton; he died October 8, 1986.
She was employed at DuPont/Clysar as a shipping clerk for more than 47 years, retiring in 2014.
Kathleen was a member of Prince of Peace and former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Catholic Church of the Visitation.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Chris) Coleman of Clinton; son, Brian (Renee) Wilson of Clinton; grandchildren, Robert and Chloe Wilson, Damarcus Edwards, ShoShanna Coleman, Skylar and Brielle McMahon and Mia and Theodore Harris.; great-granddaughter, Kaelynn Foley and brother, Gary (Cindy) McDermott of Clinton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Speakout Against Suicide or the American Cancer Society.
