Christina Tina Marie (Goynes) Mussman left us to be in the arms of our savior Saturday, April 29, 2017 at home, following an 18 year battle with brain cancer. She was the wife of Jeff Mussman with whom she shared 39 glorious years.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Church of the Visitation Camanche. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Goynes, Paul Goynes, Phil Goynes, Ryan Goynes, Rickey Goynes, Ricky Mussman, Brian Mussman and Nate Fuller. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 8:00 pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Tina was born in Orange, Texas on November 11, 1958 she was the daughter of Carolyn and Raymond Goynes. She graduated from Camanche High School in 1977 and went on to complete her paralegal degree at Marychrest College. Prior to her illness she worked with Clinton Community School District in Accounts Payable.
Tina loved to spend time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her indomitable spirit in the face of insurmountable odds. She always had a smile on her face. She loved music, dancing, reading, and collecting angels.
She is survived by her loving husband Jeff Mussman of Camanche; two children: Ashley (Nate) Fuller of Camanche and Justin Mussman of San Francisco, California; three grandchildren: Marley, Hayzel, and Olyver Fuller; five siblings: Sandy Clark of Clinton; Rick (Marya) Goynes of Clinton, Paul (Paula) Goynes of Grape Vine, Texas, Phil (Jan) Goynes of Pearland, Texas and Tim (Eric) Goynes of San Francisco, California; mother-in-law: Janice Mussman of Clinton; Jeffs siblings: Michelle (Gary) Parker of Clinton, Denise (Jeff Lind) Mussman of Clinton, Ricky (Annette) Mussman of Clinton, Brian (Sandy) Mussman of Clinton and Terry Mussman of Clinton; special friends: Ann and Bill Westbrook of Princeton, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews.
Tina was preceded in death by her mother Carolyn Goynes, her father Raymond Ray Goynes, her father-in-law, Edwin Ed Mussman, and brother-in-law Denny Clark.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute in hope of finding a cure.
